Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Master Carpenter with extensive hands-on experience in custom builds, framing, finish work, and cabinetry. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead or mentor a team when necessary.
Responsibilities:
-Execute complex carpentry tasks including framing, trim, and custom woodworking
-Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
-Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure quality and timelines
-Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
-Maintain a clean and organized work site
-Train and oversee junior carpenters or apprentices, as needed
Requirements:
-Minimum of 10 years of carpentry experience (or certified as a Master Carpenter)
-Expert-level skills in both rough and finish carpentry
-Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction standards
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Must have own tools and reliable transportation
-Must speak English and communicate clearly and professionally
-Willingness to take responsibility and be accountable for work performed
