Summary
The primary responsibility of the delivery driver is the efficient delivery of food and add-on items. Project a professional image to our guests and work in cooperation with fellow team members.
Primary Responsibilities
Uphold the standards set forth in the Driver Manual, including speed of service, order accuracy, excellent guest service and friendly acknowledgment of guests
Supply and maintain proper change for $25, including coin
Maintain an understanding of the delivery area- campus and apartment buildings
Determine the best delivery route before leaving the store
Arrive at work with enough fuel to cover the entire shift, at least ½ a tank of gas
Park legally – tickets are the responsibility of the delivery driver
Assist with local store marketing– dispersing menu & coupons
It is the responsibility of the driver to work consistently throughout their shift
Driver Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a qualified driving record
Proof of insurance coverage
Reliable vehicle, cell phone w/ data and a delivery bag
Must be at least 18 years old
Completion of mandatory training
Ability to work well with others and in a fast-paced environment, genuine interest to provide a positive guest experience and dependable
Uniform
All employees are required to wear appropriate attire and maintain personal hygiene. See Driver Manual for Personal Appearance and Uniform Standards.
Distance
Our delivery radius is up to 4 miles. Elm Street in Winnetka, Peterson Avenue in Chicago and Waukegan Road in Morton Grove.
Schedule
Full-time employees: 10hrs/ day
Part-time employees: 5hrs/ day
Provisional employees: Under 5hrs/ day
Pay
Full time: Employees will receive the federal minimum wage of $12.00 per hour, supplemented by any tips they earn. To align with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines for tipped employees, it is ensured that the combined hourly wage and tips will always meet or exceed the regular minimum wage, set at $12 per hour.
Part time: $8/ delivery
