We take our responsibilities seriously and are on the lookout for a collaborative team player to join our thriving team. This role is for a sales agent who can add new customers to our ongoing operations. Having an existing book of business is a must. This role is primarily to obtain new sales for our company.

We seek a candidate who is driven, passionate about logistics, exceptionally organized, and detail oriented. The Freight Sales Agent should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the candidate should be results oriented and help increase sales.

A minimum of one year of experience in logistics sales is essential

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

In-office; hybrid opportunities may be available for the right candidate

Main Job Responsibilities

- Reach out to potential clients through visits, phone calls, and emails to turn them into loyal customers.

-Work with dispatch department to hand over customers so you focus more on getting more business.

-Collaborate with sales and dispatch team to identify new business opportunities

-Utilize your personal vehicle for client appointments (Sargent covers fuel and mileage costs).

-Attend Trade Shows and other networking events (paid by Sargent) to gain business

-Provide professional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships

-Utilize our systems for customer management and tracking

Required Skills:

- Proven experience in sales, especially in freight customer relations.

- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management

- Proficient in dispatching shipments and coordinating logistics operations

- Experienced sales skills and a positive outlook.

We offer:

$60-80k Base pay + Commission
