Job Description:
As a Local Delivery Route Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to our customers. Your primary duties will include:
Safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport products to various locations.
Ensuring accuracy in order delivery by verifying product codes, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor with customers during deliveries.
Handling products with care to prevent damage during transportation.
Conducting regular vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs to supervisors.
Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and delivering orders.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the delivery vehicle.
Requirements:
Previous experience in delivery driving preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order delivery.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and follow company policies and procedures.
