As a Principal R&D Engineering Scientist in Renewable Fuels you will design and deliver large, complex portions of the technologies that power our solutions and products. This role will lead and support the development of new renewable processes and catalyst technologies that will provide sustainable technology solutions to the energy industry. Key Responsibilities-Lead and drive projects to deliver integrated solutions for upgrading feedstocks (e.g., biomass and FOGs) into valuable fuels and petrochemicals.-Enable vision for conversion outcomes in future feedstock scenarios through advanced system engineering methods including molecule management.-Lead and consult on cross functional teams including specialists from R&D, Engineering, Technical Service and Manufacturing for the development of new solutions for the conversion technology areas.-Develop and implement robust project plans to meet technology delivery commitments on schedule and within budget constraints.-Lead pilot plant experimentation and drive model-based design of experiments (MBDOE) approach to bring effectiveness and agility.-Build awareness of the market, competition, and new developments. Contribute to technology strategy development to build a strong pipeline of sustainable solutions that will drive growth.-Interface with Research to quickly and efficiently bring next-generation catalysts and processes to market.The annual base salary range for this position is $191,000-$239,500 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
