Regulatory Reporting Analyst/Manager

Description We are in search of a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in LAKE FOREST, Illinois. This role involves processing and reviewing financial data, maintaining records, and aiding in the compliance with internal controls. Responsibilities: Conduct regular trial balance and balance sheet reviews. Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and disclosures for SEC filings. Assist in the creation and review of corporate and divisional financial data supporting the SEC reporting process. Contribute to the preparation of derivative journal entries and hedging transactions associated with the Company’s hedging program. Support the maintenance of journal entries related to corporate fixed assets, leases, and acquisitions. Assist in ensuring SOX compliance with internal controls associated with the SEC reporting process. Drive continuous improvement of the Company’s SEC reporting processes. Utilize excellent communication skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Apply proven process improvement skills to optimize efficiency. Utilize auditing and SEC reporting skills to enhance overall reporting processes.Requirements Must hold at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Demonstrated proficiency in auditing is essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Experience in SEC reporting is necessary. A solid understanding of regulatory reporting processes and procedures is needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using various reporting software and tools. Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions. Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines. A bachelor's degree in accounting. Knowledge of manufacturing industry regulations and standards is a plus. Experience in preparing and presenting detailed reports to management is desirable. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
