This position will also serve as a project lead for the initiatives related to PIC Systems and Analytics.Job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Management of the relationship between Caterpillar PIC team and Dealers’ ERP vendors.
Interface with ERP vendors on problems identified and enhancements suggested by both Caterpillar Dealers and the Cat PIC team.
Document and communicate to ERP vendors Cat and Dealer requirements for enhancements and fixes.
Secure quotes for new development, assist in budgeting and approval process for Cat spending on enhancement and fixes.
Support/coordinate with PIC Support on the testing and implementation of changes from ERP vendors to Dealers as necessary.
Subject matter expert for ERP relationship, capabilities, dealer installation specifics, and on-going development work.
Project leadership: This role will also be responsible for leadership of projects in the PIC Systems and Analytics space. Some of these will be directly related to work with ERP vendors and some will be independent of those relationships.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.

Leads discussions and answers complex questions regarding business data analysis software. Defines processes and methods for integrating global models and component reusability. Advocates better communication of data requirements in business data analysis processes to increase the efficiency of data analysis. Consults on modeling, tools, techniques, strategies, and the use of reusable information. Establishes working processes for business data analysis and supervises team progress. Monitors industry and vendor trends and directions of business data analysis technologies.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms. Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage. Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases. Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation. Trains others on requirements walkthroughs and quality reviews. Utilizes automated diagramming tools to ensure traceability of requirements.
What Will Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or similar technical field.
Experience with industry standard statistics and data visualization packages (SAAS, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Experience and/or knowledge of ERP systems (DBS, Xapt, etc.).
