We are looking for a caregiver to fill the following hours:
Wednesday 7pm to Midnight
Thursday 7pm to 11pm
Friday 7pm to 11pm
Saturday 7pm to 11pm
Pay is $14.50/hour paid by the State DORS program (not cash)
Location is Peoria close to Willow Knolls Shopping Center and Sams Club.
I'm Ryan, a 35-year-old adult male who has muscular dystrophy. I need full assistance and have a trach but speak normally. anything you would do for yourself I need you to do for me. No experience necessary, on the job training provided. This is not a companion position, you will be actively working and providing care during your shift.
Duties include: bathing, feeding, transferring to bed/wheelchair using a lift, and light housekeeping. We are needing someone who can learn quickly, be personable, stay alert, show up consistently, and be on time. You must be 18 or older, have your own transportation and be able to pass a background check.
It is a plus if you have worked through DORS before, but not a requirement. Experience with trachs and/or ventilators are also a plus but not required.
