This is a contingent position forecasted for two years.Within this role, you will:Create packaging instructions for replacement partsResearch and investigate the design, functionality and quality of product packages and packaging processesConduct product assessment to specify the optimal packaging solution for parts entering our clients supply chainRequired Skills/Experience:Bachelors degree in a technical field, preferably EngineeringTechnical aptitudeAbility to design wood boxes and crates for heavy product packagingKnowledge and/or experience with a CAD software (ideally Creo)Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideasAdvanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reportsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written This position is located in Morton, IL. Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense. Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.
