May be eligible for relocation.Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate across functions to support components for new aircraft Entry-Into-Service and existing aircraft Sustainment to achieve internal budget goals

Ensure implementation of time sensitive engineering drawing changes supporting obsolescence to ensure on time delivery

Perform engineering estimates supporting proposals

Collaborate in program planning with program management and manufacturing

Develop cost effective tooling and test equipment for commercial and military customers

Produce parts, specifications, designs or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests

Apply research to the planning, design, development and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines and/or machines.

Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.

Support CORE / continuous improvement activities to improve tool and test equipment design processes

Travel 10% annually

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering experience.

TeamCenter and Unigraphics experience

Experience in design and development of mechanical tool/manual-automated test equipment

Experience in additive manufacturing 3D printing technology

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
