Sr. Program Controls Specialist Sr. Program Controls Specialist for UOP LLC in Rosemont, ILResponsibilities: Develop program plans and create cost and schedule baselines. Prepare and publish metrics and reports. Analyze variances and review compliance to corporate guidelines across multiple teams. Request mentoring and leadership skills for development of team members. Maintain project cost and schedule tools used by project managers to accurately measure, forecast and track project-related work. Assist, and sometimes take lead, in producing and maintaining project schedules and associated deliverables and progress S curves. Ensure the accuracy of earned value data and process compliance on assigned project portfolio. Work with Project Managers to produce accurate cost estimates for change orders and maintains the change log. Works with Business Management (Program Managers, Directors, and Finance management) to report both project and program forecasts. Initiate accurate and timely project invoicing to associated customers. Manage the unbilled, receivable and payable balances on assigned projects. Contribute and oversee coordination of monthly project status reports to customers. Actively participate in project review meetings and provide clear, accurate project assessments & gives proactive advice to drive successful project completion. Track and analyze project threats and opportunities, develop project contingency budgets and maintains run down curves for cost risk assessment.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Location: Rosemont, IL40 hours/weekEmployee Referral Fee: $1500If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE. Full term of experience must include: experience with Cost Control, Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum) and Time Management; experience with Project Life Cycles; understanding of Project SOX (US GAAP Principles) controls and compliance; and transformation mindset to embrace and improve new systems implementation.
