Position Summary:
Tentative start date of 1/6/25 to prepare for the Spring semester.Provides educational leadership, ensures a quality learning environment for all students, and plans, organizes, implements, and assesses didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences as assigned within the vision, mission, values, and learning domains of the College
Qualifications:
Education RequirementsMaster's degree in specific discipline or closely related field. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Promotes an academic environment of professional growth, accountability, and success
Essential Functions:
Teaching1. Demonstrates beginning teaching skills2. Guides students to apply critical thinking principles and evidence-based knowledge in learning situations3. Serves as faculty advisor for students4. Mentors students in area of expertise5. Demonstrates collaborative relationships with othersScholarship1. Uses educational materials and/or develops programs for teaching and/or clinical practice using evidence- based sources2. Participates in faculty development opportunities related to evidence-based practice and/or scholarship, as a participant or a presenter.3. Seeks mentoring opportunities with senior facultyService1. Serves on two college committees2. Maintains current membership in professional organizations3. Serves as a volunteer in professional capacity in at least one community organization4. Participates in student recruitment5. Participates in quality improvement initiatives for the college
