We boldly go.Work Arrangement: Remote within a Geography (Can live in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky or Illinois)Job Summary:The Field Service Representative provides system level technical support to our external customers for American Standard, Trane and Ameristar residential products sold through the RS channel.Responsibilities:

Telephone and email HVAC system level support with deeper knowledge at the specific product level

Data and adminstrative duties as assigned

Support Channel Partners and Field Service Representatives on technical issue resolution

Interface with internal organization through cross-functional quality forums and teams

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of field experience serving in a Field Service Representative role

Strong data entry experience preferred

Senior level field technician with a minmum of 5 years experience.

Experience can be offset by higher level technical degree in related field

Key Competencies:

Detail oriented and organized, able to coordinate workload

Strong ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems over the phone

Strong knowledge of HVAC system operation

Strong knowledge of Comfort Controls/Zoning application, operation, and troubleshooting

Must be a strong team player, self-starter and flexible to varying work assignments

Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communication skills required

Personal computer competence and data entry with MS Office products required

Must be customer focused

Have the ability to make quality decisions

Has to be able to manage time wisely

Diverse technical background
