The primary function of this role is operating injection molding machines, assembly machines and or/auxiliary equipment.
Inspect and assemble parts and assemblies in compliance with work instructions
Place packed manufactured parts in required/proper packaging, layer packing parts
Effectively communicate with supervisor and quality control technicians on any non-conformance in a timely fashion
Responsible for the quality of products
Maintain assigned workstation in an organized, clean and neat manner according to established success standards
General housekeeping of the workstation and surrounding area by sweeping, restocking components, picking up parts prior to the end of the shift or leaving the work area
Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
Ensure that each part label is accurate
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in a manufacturing environment required
Must be able to work weekends and work a flexible schedule when required.
Ability to read, write and speak English
Good mechanical aptitude along with good computer literacy
Strong organizational skills
Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
