Job Description

The

Representative, Diet Office II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This role is responsible for answering the telephone, processing communications regarding diet orders and maintaining the diet office system with current, correct information during PM shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Manages entire patient Room Service Process in the evening independently.
• Processes diet orders in CBORD using standard and mobile technology.
• Understands diet restrictions to assure patient food safety.
• Assembles trays according to patient's requests and diet orders. Coordinates with Cafe Grill cook and Deli worker to assure hot food hot, and cold food cold.
• Provides accurate and timely delivery of meals to patients.
• Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations and without supervision.
• Able to multitask due to working independently having to make frequent decisions to assure patients receive excellent service.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer knowledge

• Hours: 2:30-11pm and every other weekend.

Preferred:

• Prior customer service experience
• Prior diet office experience
