Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) Analyst

The Digital Forensic and Incident Response Analyst will work both independently and with a team to conduct complex cybersecurity investigations. This role requires sufficient technical skill to understand and address data issues, identify potential challenges, and resolve challenges quickly. The role also requires the ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical usersWhat You'll Do:

Conduct forensic collections of digital evidence and perform analysis using industry standard best practices and approved software and hardware

Preserve and analyze data from electronic data sources and systems including laptop and desktop computers, servers, mobile devices, cloud services, etc

Examine firewall, web, database, and other log sources to identify evidence and artifacts of malicious and compromised activity

Collect and analyze forensic images and triage datasets to identify the presence of malware

Collect and analyze endpoint and/or network data for evaluation of unauthorized access and/or data ex-filtration

Prepare in-depth investigation reports for management review

All other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, or other related field

5+ years experience in a related role

One or more Industry standard forensic certifications such as: EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), or EC-Council, ISACA, (ISC)2, & GIAC related forensic certifications.

Ability to collaborate with others and document situations

Desire to learn new tools

Possibility of infrequent traveling
