US Physical Channels Market Analyst

Market Analyst – Physical ChannelsIn this role, you will collaborate with Retail, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), and Channels management on branch network opportunities, conduct research and analysis, and provide data and network analysis to create an effective and profitable branch distribution network. Work across BMO to deliver market and project/program data and mapping to enhance and support branch network analysis. Engage with leadership and business partners to support the development, management, and implementation of the network wide roadmap projects from inception through disposition.Key Responsibilities

Provide market and branch data from both internal and external sources to support branch, ATM, Market, and network analysis.

Source data both internal and external to enhance current analysis to produce a stronger more competitive branch network

Create custom maps to support network, market and competitor analysis and decisioning.

Provide market insights and recommendations on potential markets, branch/ATM sites under consideration

Network and collaborate with leaders in Retail, CRE and other lines of business to provide a comprehensive market analysis for all branch projects (denovo, relocation, renovation, refresh and closures)

Build effective relationships with internal/external partners and stakeholders.

Build/design input and data collection for project analysis

Conduct research/data analysis/implementation for branch network-based projects.

Assists in the development of project analysis and related business cases for branch network projects.

Play a role in developing, maintaining, and executing the multi-year US branch network roadmap

Identifies emerging trends to inform decision-making.

Conducts analysis required to inform recommendations and considers the “big picture” when assessing whether a course of action is advisable in terms of the group and enterprise goals.

Engages in branch network market tour orchestration to provide team insights on existing branch network and new branch opportunities.

Collaborates with internal & external stakeholders to provide market context in the develop and implementation of programs & solutions.

Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.

Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.

Qualifications:

Typically, between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with ArcGIS (by ESRI) for mapping

Intermediate knowledge of SQL

Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Strong collaborator with analytical and problem-solving skills for data driven decision making.

Defines and implements the product development, sales, and marketing strategy for an Investment product or product portfolio, with P&L (profit and loss) accountability. Conducts market research, forecasting, pricing, and competitive analysis. Innovates to develop new products and enhancements to existing ones to improve the customer experience. Collaborates with internal partners across the organization to take products to market, and manages all risks associated with products to ensure compliance, including risk reporting.

Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.

Participates in and evaluates market research and competitive analysis associated with assigned products.

Gathers customer and sales feedback and performs analysis of issues.

Completes internal and regulatory reporting.

Defines and implements product strategy for an individual product or product portfolio.

Drives the business case and strategic roadmap for products and services, including accountability for project and budget approval.

Optimizes the financial performance and customer value of the product portfolio.

Continuously improves processes to identify issues and deliver optimal customer experience.

Works with internal stakeholders to develop materials and training for salesforce, and manages changes.

May support the sales team in development of specific deals for customers and in client presentations.

Develops and maintains relationships with external partners and vendors.

Sets and/or operates within product risk parameters and metrics.

Conduct risk/reward and other analyses, and drafts product policies and related documents.

Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.

Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.

Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications:

Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Established track record of providing strong investment performance and effective risk management.

Completion of relevant investments certification.

Experienced understanding of business line and a basic understanding of the overall firm.

Experienced understanding of specialized discipline.

Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Salary:$61,600.00 - $114,400.00Pay Type:SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
