Description Billing SpecialistAre you detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to take your billing expertise to the next level? A growing organization is seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.Key Responsibilities:
Lead internal projects to improve billing processes and enhance efficiency.
Manage billing operations, including accounts receivable, refunds, and commissions.
Document and implement best practices for billing workflows and policies.
Respond to complex inquiries regarding advisory fees and billing issues.
Generate reports for audits, due diligence requests, and management reviews.
Provide training and support to team members on billing processes.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proficiency with billing systems such as Orion Advisor or similar platforms (e.g., Addepar, Advent, or Bluefin).
Familiarity with accounting software, ideally GP Dynamics.
3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
