9 beds.

RN-to-patient ratio is 1:3 private rooms.

This unit consists of all private rooms. Team members specialize in

renal and dialysis patients in addition to other medical surgical

patients. Team members may obtain the Progressive Care Certified Nurse

(PCCN) or certification in medical-surgical. Basic rhythm and ACLS

classes are also offered to team members.Progressive Care Unit

18 beds.

RN-to-patient ratio is 1:3 semi-private rooms.These two units provide an

intermediate level of care between the intensive care levels and

medical-surgical level. The Progressive Renal Medicine is able to

accommodate patients requiring bedside dialysis treatments. All patients

are on a continuous cardiac bedside monitor that is monitored 24/7 by a

technician trained in interpreting cardiac rhythms. The Progressive Care

Unit sees a mixture of patients with cardiac and pulmonary issues.

Nurses are trained in ACLS, basic and advanced rhythm, administering of

cardiac and hemodynamic drips,and cardiac procedures including

cardioversion. They are also trained in caring for patients that are pre

and post pacemaker insertion, ICDs, and ablations. The nurse to patient

ratio is 1:3 on days and nights. Nurses are encouraged to pursue PCCN

(Progressive Care Certified Nurse)Apply teamwork. Apply experience. Apply skill. Apply yourself. And

together we can change everything.QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES? Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing

(BSN) preferred.? Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited

nursing program.? Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.? Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.? Other advanced life support certifications may be required per
