Description:Position Description: The Marine Corps requires a better way of utilizing data in tactical environments The C2 Software Architect will be the lead architect for developing a user interface for an agnostic data stream pulled from multiple Marine Corp Command and Control Systems Requiring the architecting, deploying, and creating operating constructs to enable data for C2 utilizing data in tactical environments Using open standards for cost efficiency, interoperability with existing systems and ability to pace industry Utilizing a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) framework to calibrate Agile and Lean practices to achieve better business outcomes Focusing on existing open-source software solutions & Indoor Mapping Data Format (IMDF)Position Responsibilities: Work with team to create a draft architecture on how C2 Visualization as a Service would interact with the draft architecture for the new Tactical Data Orchestration Layer (TDOL), which is a C2 gov-owned data fabric Designing a Data Fabric/Mesh architecture to support task-organized Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Develop a Data Governance Implementation Strategy Allowing integration of data sources/applications, self-service publish/subscribe and incorporation of additional data fabric capabilitiesSkills:C#, Javascript, .net, SQL, AgileTop Skills Details:C#,Javascript,.net,SQLAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Position Requirements: 5+ years of proven experience as both a software architect and software developer Experience with ATAK, TAKX, TAK Server Experience with C2 systems or systems that work on Marine Corps networks and with other information systems Joint Tactical COP Workstation (JTCW), including Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) GCCS, AFATDS Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools Experience working across cross-functional product teams Demonstrated ability to requirements engineer and write technical documentation with an attention to detail Exceptional technical strategic thinking and visionary skills with the ability to see the 'big picture' several years down the line Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain oneEducation and Certification: BS in Computer Science or related field Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (for example CompTIA Security+) - willing to obtain prior to start dateExperience Level:Expert LevelAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
