Position SummaryThe Consultant and Producer Strategic Advisor is a strategic business development role focused on accelerating our consultant and producer support model. This Advisor role will work with key personnel to develop insights, identify organizational risks and opportunities, drive execution of key initiatives, and represent the consultant perspective in various organizational forums.This person will assist in developing and executing firm-specific business plans and initiatives, growing our influence within target firms and expanding business opportunities through internal and external channels. This position will regularly collaborate with leaders to understand business priorities and drive consultant-specific strategies to achieve business results aligned with those priorities.Functions and ResponsibilitiesThe primary function of the Advisor is to drive execution of business processes developed within consultant focused cross-functional teams. Key functions and responsibilities include:
Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities and assist in prioritizing efforts for cross-functional work teams
Extracting insights across functional teams to inform strategic development
Execute strategic projects through cross-functional work teams under the guidance of strategic leadership
Assist in building strategies to increase and accelerate results through business development activities
Represent the perspective of the Consultant and Producer Strategy team in various organizational forums
Represent the organization and build trust with key personnel within external consulting and producer firms as appropriate
Manage successful delivery of select team projects
Minimal travel anticipated, approximately 1 - 3 opportunities each quarter
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Highly effective at cross-functional collaboration to prioritize actions, drive processes, and achieve business results
Several years’ relevant experience in a sales, business development, strategy, business analysis, or consulting/client service role
The ability to influence decision makers across the enterprise including senior leaders
A self-directed ability to use proper judgment to plan, prioritize, and accomplish goals
Leadership skills, team-orientation, a proactive management style and a growth mindset
Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with a diverse stakeholder group
Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational/prioritization skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Knowledge of employee benefits, health management/wellbeing marketplace is a plus
