HR Specialist

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing administrative support for complex and highly confidential information related to benefits, compensation, and other areas of HR.

Assist in preparing reports, graphs, charts, and statistics in support of HR operations.

Responsible for providing accurate and timely and professional service to employee requests.

Provides support in Workday administration to update data and ensure data integrity of various employee related tasks.

Serves as the internal subject matter expert on HIPAA, maintaining current knowledge of HIPAA laws and regulations, and another other applicable federal and state privacy laws or regulations.

Monitor and ensure appropriate compliance with I9 completion.

Prepare, review, interpret, analyze, and approve a variety of data, information and reports.

Initial point of contact for all benefit and payroll related questions. Escalate issues as needed to Payroll Specialist or Benefits Manager.

Provide back-up payroll administration and processing as needed; assist in miscellaneous payroll-related activities, included but not limited to researching pay issues and resolving concerns in a timely manner.

Maintains monthly benefits reconciliation (including auditing monthly billings, ensuring accuracy of reports between HRIS (Workday) and vendors).

Manages inbound and outbound file integrations between health and welfare vendors and HRIS (Workday) and reconciles discrepancies.

Create, maintain, and update department Intranet pages, network sites, and other department SharePoint sites as requested.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Education

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

3+ years previous Human Resources department experience.

Proficient using Adobe DC Professional and Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint, etc., required.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
