Inside Sales Representative

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role focuses on managing the commercial aspects of domestic and international orders, including standard products and highly customized projects. You'll be working closely with customers and the sales team, handling order issues and ensuring problem resolution.Responsibilities: Manage and prioritize orders effectively within the assigned territory. Coordinate with the production scheduler and finance team to resolve order and invoice issues. Communicate regularly with customers and build strong relationships with primary customer contacts. Review order status and maintain customer-specific account data in all business systems. Liaise with the shipping team to ensure orders are shipped according to customer requirements. Create documented standard work instructions for each customer account. Collaborate with Project Managers for timely execution of custom orders. Regularly update customer reports and portals as required. Identify product issues, understand resolution timing, and communicate the business message to customers. Requirements Proven experience in an inside sales representative role or similar customer service position Proficiency in relevant computer applications, such as CRM software and MS Office Suite Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques Demonstrable skill in delivering excellent customer service Proficiency in order entry systems and processes Ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude High level of integrity and a professional attitude Ability to work well in a team environment Willingness to continuously improve through feedback and professional growth opportunities High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
