job descriptionMachine OperatorRandstad has partnered with a local manufacturing company in search of entry level machine operators for an immediate opening for 2nd shift. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position in Bloomington, IL. Hours of operation are M-F 5 pm - 3 am and pay is $13/hr; some Saturdays may be required. Fantastic company benefits are offered once hired on.Responsibilities:
changing tooling in all machines
performing all off sets associated with and without tool changes
complete production paperwork
complete quality paperwork
perform quality inspections
responsible for keeping operating fluids at their appropriate levels
communicate with and assist shift leader in troubleshooting and performing maintenance on machine nonconformities
communicate with and assist shift leader in troubleshooting and performing part nonconformity sorts
prepare and package finished goods
maintain a system of cleanliness (5s)
adheres to policies as outlined in the employee handbook
Working hours: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AMSkills:
mechanically inclined
able to pass basic math testing
basic understanding of tools and instructions
Education:High SchoolExperience:Entry LevelQualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
reliable transportation to and from work (not on a bus line)
at least 1 year of recent manufacturing/warehouse experience
