Manager, Information Technology

OverviewAs an operations Manager, within the enterprise data management space, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes and routines that ensure the security and optimization of platforms and toolsets. You will oversee a team that responds to operational problems as they arise, ensuring that issues are properly diagnosed and effectively resolved. You will work closely with business solutions teams to assign and agree on operational responsibilities, ensuring a coordinated approach to problem resolution. You will develop and publish metrics and dashboards to report on the operational health of the enterprise data platform, providing transparency and insights to drive continuous improvements and support the organization’s operational goals. Responsibilities

Implement policies, programs and directives of senior management

Interview, select and approve training for employees

Make recommendations for staff and equipment and have significant input into personnel matters

Perform employee assessments and evaluations

Efficiently identify and solve issues

Develop Requests for Proposals (lFP) for external vendor services

Manage external vendor relationships in collaboration with the Vendor Manager

Ensure required documentation is created and maintained thoroughly and appropriately, and company processes are appropriately followed

Provide resource management and resource planning

Provide input into operational process improvements

Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences

Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization

Must strictly adhere to safety requirements

Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Must maintain company quality and quantity standards

Must have effective oral and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Predisposition to continuously improve upon existing procedures and desire to create user instructions documents

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Information Technology or related technical discipline; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background

Minimum 2 years experience in resource management or related area

Minimum 5 years experience in IT or related field

Demonstrated proficiency with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the information technology field

Physical Requirements:

Works under general office environment conditions

Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA

Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences

International and domestic travel as required

This role is a hybrid position. Candidate must reside within 2 hours via car of the Cook Medical location and is required to work onsite as needed per Manager expectations.
