Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a public accounting candidate to transition into industry! The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties including maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and supporting external and internal audits. This role will also involve various Corporate Accounting activities and related projects. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field A minimum of two years of experience in public accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite Experience in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience in the healthcare, hospital, or social assistance industry is a plus.
