In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to: ensure the plant is in compliance with generally accepted maintenance principles while working independently requiring limited supervision.Key Responsibilities:Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projectsSafely accomplish assigned tasksMust be willing to work overtime as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategiesComply with safety regulationsMaintain clean and orderly work areasOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experienceExcellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skillsManage ambiguity while working through stressful situationsPositive attitude and a willingness to work with othersBasic machining skillsBasic welding skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a groupMust own hand toolsStrong troubleshooting skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work PermitsOutstanding attendancePrevious Maintenance ExperienceAbility to read blueprints and machine control schematicsPhysical Demands:  Physical demands of performing the duties of this job include, but are not limited to, occasionally lifting/handling up to >100 lbs, frequently lifting/handling up to <=100 lbs, and constantly lifting/handling up to <=50 lbs. Non-Physical Demands:  Include but are not limited to time pressures, frequent change of tasks, irregular work schedule/overtime, multi-tasking, working closely with others as a team, and tedious or exacting work.Work Environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis.  Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors are seasonally in nature.Education and Experience:  High school diploma or GED and 3+ years related experience required.  Vocational training and 7+ years related experience preferred.Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Computer Skills:  Computer literate.  Ability to use email and CMMS is required.Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
