Site Manager

DESCRIPTION
Reports to Vice President General Manager and is responsible for managing production operations and achieving KPI's of contract at assigned customer location and shift as instructed / delegated. Site Manager maintains effective communications with direct supervisor and appropriate management personnel. This position is responsible for oversight in managing and coaching as appropriate Assistant Site managers, Group Leaders, Team Leaders and Team Members working in an environment or industrial plant facility to meet operational and employee objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES include the following.
Establish strong Team member relations, at all levels and provide support for the development of team members.
Provide coaching and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion for all members.
Must create Production Improvement strategies to achieve KPIs.
Must ensure Production activities support HOSHIN
Must create clear paths for leadership to develop and provide consistent feedback on performance.
Act as the contract/liaison with the customer on all service and communication issues as required/instructed by Vice President General Manager.
Assure that the Team is working together to accomplish optimum contract services for the customer.
Promote Problem Solving activity that focuses on problem identification and countermeasure activity through team work.
Identify Waste in Orderly Pick Processes and develop activity to improve efficiency.
Provide leadership to create a team environment that maximizes employee morale and minimizes employee turnover.
Provide team members with knowledge and training for safe work practices and safety awareness.
Some Travel may be necessary.
Individual must possess excellent management/leadership skills and be an effective communicator with employees and customer personnel. Individual must possess good interpersonal skills so relationships with employees and customers are positive. Must be able to create a working environment that encourages a high level of employee morale, team work and customer satisfaction at the location. Individual must understand and support achievement of improvement goals in the areas of customer, associate and company satisfaction.
