Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Daycare Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be willing to obtain one, as well as a genuine love for working with children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the positive development and well-being of our daycare community.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
Provide support in daily tasks, including diapering, feeding, and classroom organization.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred
Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or childcare setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
