We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with behavioral challenges, implementing therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support to clients in achieving their behavioral goals and improving their overall quality of life.
Duties
Implement individualized treatment plans based on the client's specific needs and goals.
Conduct data collection on client behaviors to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions.
Assist clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
Provide direct support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to client care.
Collaborate with families and other professionals to educate them on behavior management strategies.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral therapy.
Support the development of care plans tailored to each client's unique requirements.
Skills
Strong ability to assist clients with various behavioral challenges.
Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care, especially for children.
Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management strategies effectively.
Understanding of care plans and how they relate to individual client needs.
Background in behavioral health is preferred.
