Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Behavioral Technician to work with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in-person at our clinic in Carmel. We are an established source for autism care and autism parent care in the Carmel community and central Indiana. Using gold-standard interventions, our services uniquely and intentionally prepare our clients for training in language and communication for socialization and community integration by including the parents and caretakers within the cycle of interventions. Mon-Fri: Full-time with up to 40 hours per week

Mon-Fri: Part-time hours available

Saturday: 8-hour shift available

8 hours per day, morning, evening, and after school shifts available

New hires are to undergo a 30-day probationary period from date of hire or start date

RBT Certification is preferred

Work location: In-person, Carmel, Indiana

Pass background check

High School Diploma or GED

What Will You Do? As an Autism Behavioral Technician, you will:

Work directly with children who have autism.

Help them improve their communication and social skills.

Use fun activities to teach new behaviors.

Collect data using "Central Reach".

Keep track of the child's progress.

Work under the guidance of experienced supervisors and a BCBA

Duties

Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.

Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.

Assist in the development of care plans that address individual needs and objectives.

Educate clients and their families about behavior management techniques and strategies.

Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Provide patient care by assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.

Collaborate with other professionals, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavior management and special education.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
