Civil Site Development Engineer - Indianapolis, INWe are actively hiring a Civil Site Development Engineer to support Stormwater projects taking place in Indianapolis, IN! The site team currently consists of 9 total people, all within Engineering and Drafting/Design, and primarily works on Industrial/Manufacturing, Commercial, and School projects. Since this is a full-service firm, the Civil team's clients are their own coworkers in other departments. Most projects will include a smaller scope, but this team will also work on large-scale, multi-year design projects as-needed. This team hired 2 people within the past year, and is adding a 3rd Engineer due to the amount of growth they continue to experience with their business. This is a great opportunity for someone who prefers a low-stress work environment with a wide variety in project types. This team puts a larger emphasis on character and personality over technical experience.Job Responsibilities:

Civil Engineering Design: Site Layout, Grading and Drainage, Erosion Control, Stormwater Management, Hydrologic/Hydraulic Analysis, and Utility Design

Work with Project Managers and staff on project: Schools, Office Buildings, Manufacturing Facilities, Parking Garages, and Multi-Family Housing

Prepare Construction Documents (Engineering Drawings and Specifications, and Bid Documents)

Prepare Hydraulic Calculations and Drainage Reports, including Calculations and Spreadsheets

Provide Engineering Support during Construction

Write Technical Reports

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related discipline

2+ Years of Experience in Site Development, Stormwater, or Water/Wastewater Engineering

Professional Experience using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D

Preferred but Not Required - Professional experience with Drainage Design and Hydraulics Calculations

Preferred but Not Required - Passed FE or PE exam (Professional Engineer Career Track)

Miscellaneous:

Target Pay Range is $35-40/hour for someone with 2-4 years of experience, but we can pay more for additional years of experience.
