Civil Engineer (Site Development)We are hiring for a Civil Design Engineer for the Civil Site Department of an Architectural and Civil Engineering consulting firm in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves designing a wide variety of site projects under the guidance of Project Managers and mentoring less experienced Civil Engineers. This role is open to help bridge the gap between Senior Project Managers and Junior Project Engineers as the project load continues to grow. This is a very employee-friendly team and office environment, with opportunity for additional compensation incentives within the organization and a brand new office within the last year. Employees are treated like people, not like a number. Job Responsibilities:

Engineering and designing site design projects for various clients

Communicating with clients on site design projects

Preparing and overseeing construction documents (plans and specifications) and technical reports

Performing engineering analyses, opinions of probable costs, and supporting calculations

Independently evaluating, selecting, and recommending design solutions, procedures, criteria, and quality control/quality assurance activities on site design projects

Performing quality control/quality assurance activities in order to deliver a quality design product

Assisting in the training, teaching and development of less-experienced civil engineers and drafters on the team.

Job Responsibilities:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and be an Engineering Intern (EI) - Passed the FE Exam

5-7 Years of Design Engineering Experience in Civil Site Development / Land Development

Proficiency in Civil 3D

Compensation:

Target pay is $45-55/hour and will be negotiable / based on a candidate's relevant experience.
