Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Estimator with CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) experience to join our talented team.The ideal individual will be a good communicator and a team player with a good foundation in cost and estimating. Responsibilities:Developing cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.Supporting Client land acquisitions.Delivering and presenting updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.Reviewing proposed design changes/new technologies and preparing estimates within appropriate accuracy levels.Understanding design stages and estimate levels.Providing commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.Preparing cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle.Working collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates/ cost plans.Analyzing labor markets and cost drivers such as unions & tax.Supporting our clients with monthly presentations.Delivering Life Cycle Costing models.Benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.  Project/Program specific responsibilities: Individuals will be working as part of a team providing estimating support activities across a variety of life science sector projects and programmes.Responsibilities will consist of:Preparation of benchmarking reports and development of appropriate data.Measurement and estimation from a first principle basis for projects at all design stages.Proficient in measuring using CSI Masterformat.Undertaking reviews of 3rd party estimates to identify alignment with the market and preparing reports to detail findings.Preparation of estimates for project change orders and review of EPCM submissions.Market sector experience:Pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D facilitiesCGMP facilitiesProject/program size in dollar value: Various, with projects ranging in size from $50m to $1bn+Software specific requirements: CostX experience preferred but not essential. Experience in measurement software essential.Certification requirements:AACE membership or equivalent preferred but not essential.
