AECOM is actively seeking a creative, motivated and highly talented Construction Project Manager IV – Water Transmission Infrastructure for AECOM's Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) services in Indiana. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in performing Construction Engineering and Inspection duties on Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Projects and managing a team of inspectors.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the overall management administration of a project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers and inspectors, enforces company, client, and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate supervisors and inspectors. Ensures inspection teams are adequately performing daily field inspections and maintaining inspection records.Responsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout.Responsible for ensuring inspection teams are monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements.Build relationships with current and potential clients and pursue business development activities for construction management-related projects.Consult with Contractor’s Superintendent on work progress and maintenance issues; review equipment utilization data and time/cost estimates.Review drawings, specifications and contract requirements to understand/prepare for inspection, and to ensure good construction practices, clarity, and consistencyReview and monitor for acceptable traffic control setup, erosion control devices, and maintenance thereof, utility coordination/resolution and conformance to contract requirements.Identify and report potential coordination, quality, safety, and environmental issues.Perform a variety of calculations and computations.Maintain thorough and accurate inspection records of construction to document compliance with contract requirementsReview, prepare and process various reports associated with construction management duties: shop drawing submittals, change orders, field changes, RFI’s, clarifications, pay estimates, force account documents, project diary, daily work reports, weekly and monthly progress reports, punch lists, project closeoutMonitor construction records to ensure contractors comply with federal requirements regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, on-the-job training program, the Historically Underutilized Business and the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise programsLead and assist in project administration and weekly/monthly progress meetings with the Project Manager and ContractorAssist in review and reconciliation of construction schedulesAssist in verification of completion of project milestones, punch lists, and contract closeout documentsObserve quality assurance testing and review test results for conformance with contract requirementsPerform daily inspections, as required, and record daily diary for each project assignedPerform field measurements of pay items and verify quantities for Contractor’s monthly pay estimateVerify “As Built” information is recorded and accuratePerform other responsibilities as assigned
