Responsible for delivering high-quality work readiness interventions that improve the soft and hard skills of program participants.Coordinates and improves the job readiness services and facilitates in-person and virtual workshops.Conducts follow-up outreach to students not engaged in job readiness workshop activities and documents efforts.Teaches job readiness and life skills such as resume preparation, completing applications, cover letter preparation, thank you letter preparation, resignation letter preparation, job searching tehniques, networking, job interviews, family budgeting, positive thinking, attitude adjustments, attendance and punctuality, healthy communication skills, professional appearance, dependability, and building self-esteem.Assists in employment duties including maintaining files on participants and employers, job development, matching participants to jobs, developing job transition plans, ensuring contract compliance, and monitoring job sites.Administers and interprets approved aptitude and proficiency tests according to prescribed procedures.Maintains accurate counseling documentation for each participant.Arranges and makes participant referrals to various community resources where low-cost family assistance may be obtained. Develops written activity reports on participants.Makets the employment curriculum to spark and encourage client participation.Other duties as assigned.
