ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Safety, demonstrated behaviors in support of company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries.

Quality, demonstrates behaviors in support of quality work processes to include, Document & track production variables, downtime, product samples, and to ensure proper blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems, follow and document accurately time and temperature points in recipe specifications to meet the quality standards.

Continuous Improvement Actively support the ConAgra Performance System-CPS. Experience in a High Performance Work Systems; 5’s, working in teams, problem solving, six sigma, TPM, training, continuous skills development-CSD, auditing, planned and/or autonomous maintenance-AM.

Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Pick up and remove waste from production line floors and containers. Push waste carts to dumpster area.

Receive additional training as needed to perform duties and responsibilities.

Operate a sit-down, double-reach, and pallet jack forklift to move product to and from inventory warehouse storage and to and from the production lines.

Hitch trucks to warehouse docks.

Stage pallets and product to ensure efficiency and safety of warehouse operations.

Change out forklift batteries as needed to operate.

Consolidate bays in inventory as needed.

Operate shrink wrapper and install a new roll of shrink wrap film as needed.

Operate inventory control devices (radio frequency) to view, track, and adjust product inventory.

Operate inventory control devices to perform cycle counts and corrections.

Maintain cleanliness in all work areas and equipment.

Pick full and partial pallets to load and unload trucks and move inventory into/out of warehouse.

Transport supplies to production as needed.

Assist other workers as needed

Learn new procedures, equipment, or operations as needed to perform functions.

Record the truck set temperatures for every trailer.

Manually document the SKU and number for any loose cases.

Monitor the conveyor system.

Verify code date and case count off an inbound truck.

Verify code date and case count off of loose cases.

Communicate to the Coordinator or the Team Lead if a trailer is in poor condition.

Communicate to the Coordinator or the Team Lead if there is no product available in a pick location or if the product is totally out.

Perform other duties that the Team Leader or Coordinator might require.

Work overtime as required to achieve production and shipping schedules.

The ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.

Be able to perform all skills as outlined on the Skills Element Tree.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum:

Experience working in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment for 3+ months

Experience operating a sit down and standup double reach forklifts

Preferred:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience working in a food processing or packaging environment

Experience work in a USDA, FDA, OSHA, or GMP compliant environment

Proficiency in SAP

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs during time on duty

Operate a standup double-reach forklift truck to pick and put away products in the refrigerated warehouse.

Operate a sit-down forklift truck to transport materials and product to and from storage

Pick products from inventory and place on pallets for relocation

Communicate with other coworkers to coordinate work activities

Count cases of finished product and pallets

Record warehouse inventory data on forms

Basic computer skills and ability to operate monitoring equipment required
