About The Adjutant General's Office : The Adjutant General’s Office (AGO) provides a dynamic workplace while serving the Indiana National Guard at its various facilities throughout the state. Role Overview: This position is located in the Indiana Army National Guard State Area Command Headquarters, Directorate of Information Management. The work of this position involves deployment of communications and data devices at large complex military installations. Installations defined as the geographic boundary of the State or Territory with a troop population in excess of 11,400 dispersed at many locations throughout the state in support of The Adjutant General's wide area command and control integrated network. Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $55,224.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:
Provides infrastructure support and primary troubleshooting for all interactions received via telephone calls, live chats and customer submitted tickets;
Creates, modifies, and successfully routes all incidents and work orders reported to them from our customer base;
Resets passwords and unlocks accounts for Active Directory, HR Systems, Mainframe, Oracle, Site Manager, and other applications as required;
Reset passwords, provide customers with instructions on obtaining authentication codes for mobile devices;
Assists with the configuration of VPN and security authorization requests;
Creates Right Fax accounts, modify email distribution lists and modify contact information as requested;
Provides advanced knowledge of systems as an escalation point level for Associate position;
Executes virus and spyware scans as part of their problem determination and resolution roles;
Coaches’ customers through installing applications and computer peripherals;
Conducts remote troubleshooting related to the Adobe Suite of products and Office 365 issues;
Creates, modifies, and deletes RACF accounts;
Creates, modifies, and deletes file permissions for active directory accounts;
Creates, modifies, and deletes contact information on mail accounts;
Creates, modifies, and deletes shared mailbox attributes;
Directs unresolved issues to the next level support if available or document issue and route to internal support team.

a Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, or
at least 3+ years of experience applying the below, outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.
Related certifications and coursework may be considered for education or experience.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and FireFox;
Broad understanding of Active Directory;
Ability to operate various types of computer systems and related equipment;
Ability to give clear detailed instructions;
Ability to relay requested information quickly and accurately;
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities;
Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
Ability to work in an environment with multiple and fluid demands;
Ability to follow all established policies and procedures.
