Description We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role focuses on meticulous organization and management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our inventory, purchasing, and receiving storeroom products, as well as stocking nursing units with essential medical supplies.Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of dock shipments by storeroom and department direct orders. Ensure prompt and correct distribution of supplies, as well as appropriate storage of stock to relevant departments. Handle the distribution of items to the correct department and/or individuals after matching items on purchase orders to packing slips, reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Monitor inventories for various areas of the building, including patient floor, surgery, anesthesia, pre-op, and post-op. Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to assure product availability. Carry out product expiration sweeps as assigned. Participate in the creation and adjustment of surgeon sheds and part locations. Utilize skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Cerner Technologies, Epic Software, and other related applications in managing tasks. Perform clerical duties such as answering inbound calls and maintaining charts and graphs. Uphold the standards of ADP - Financial Services and adhere to audit requirements. Requirements The candidate must have proficiency in ADP - Financial Services. Familiarity with Cerner Technologies is necessary. Experience with Epic Software is a must. Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required. The applicant should be well-versed in ERP Solutions. Familiarity with About Time software is desirable. The ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively is required. Auditing skills are necessary. The candidate should be capable of creating and interpreting Charts - Graphs. The applicant must be adept at performing Clerical Duties.
