Today, Kelly Services is searching for Remediation Field Sampler to join the team at a Fortune 500 Chemical Company in Midland, MIUnder the general direction of Regulatory Sciences Environmental Fate and Metabolism study directors, the incumbent will assist in the conduct of laboratory and/or field studies in the support of registration, re-registration and commercialization of new and existing production.Primary ResponsibilitiesCombustion analyses for 14C in plant and soil samples generated in both 14C laboratory studies and 14C field studies. The incumbent will be theBeing a focal point for coordinating the combustion samples across the entire group while working closely with group members or technicians.Prepping, weighing and combusting samples and then returning results to laboratory scientists.Assist Regulatory Laboratories staff during intensive set-up and spiking portions of laboratory studies and subsequent sample preparation and analysisGeneral maintenance of the laboratoriesComplies with all laboratory safety procedures, EPA Good Laboratory Practice Standards, Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for use and handling of radioactive material and all other study specific or pertinent regulatory agency requirements.Maintains neat, accurate, and complete records.Interacts positively with all members of the Regulatory Laboratories group to foster a team approach to projectsAssist with maintenance, shipping/receiving, recalibration and inventorying field equipment as needed. Download weather and TPR data as needed.RequirementsPrefer BS, Chemistry, Biology, related science degree or equivalent experience.MUST HAVE a general knowledge of chemistry.Must have an understanding of GLP regulations, computers, and laboratory techniques is desirable.Please Note: Seeking someone who is looking for a routine, but important role. This role will not have a lot of variety or be a role for growth.
