Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Material Analyst. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN Distribution Center.The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Materials Analyst acts as a liaison between the centralized material planning and the sites master scheduling team. This role is responsible to ensure the material needed arrives at the right time and in the right quantity for kit builds and distribution. This role will monitor customer demand on a daily basis and work with the site production planning team to execute on kit builds in a timely manner. This individual will work closely with the site receiving team to resolve issues preventing receipt, the divisional material planning and customer scheduling teams along with plant operations to optimize and drive efficiency in execution. In addition, this role actively supports continuous improvement activities to achieve site performance metrics for delivery and inventory.Additionally:
Ensures consistent and adequate supply of materials to meet daily clear to build / clear to ship execution
Operate with urgency to reduce plants materials disruptions to zero and mitigate impact to our customers
Tracks daily material and operational metrics
Facilitates resolution of receiving errors between divisional planning team and receiving lead
Communicates proactively on aging inbound ASNs with site receiving
Monitors demand forecast and collaborates with SIOP team to drive accuracy improvements
Supports efforts to drive materials within min max range
Monitors and approves intercompany expedites
Supports efforts to resolve cycle count issues as needed
Drives continuous improvements activities within materials to support delivery performance, inventory targets and reduce past due
Qualifications:Basic (required) Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
Six (6) months of experience in any of the following: Materials Planning, SIOP, or Order Management within a manufacturing/plant operation or distribution center environment
Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future
Must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of the working location (Indianapolis, IN) to be considered. Active-Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or similar from an accredited university
One (1+) or more years of experience in Materials Planning, SIOP, or Order Management within a plant operations or distribution center environment
Previous ERP (Oracle) business intelligence platforms experience (OBIEE, Qlikview, PowerBI preferred)
