Great company. Great people. Great opportunities.The Region Fleet Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day program requirements based on the scope of work. Accountable for delivering efficiencies and results based on agreed upon KPI categories. Establish protocols to capture metric requirements and make recommendations internally for cost savings opportunities. Oversee all aspects of potential cost savings areas including parts management, maintenance/service, fleet right sizing, fleet balancing, and consumption management to ultimately optimize equipment performance. Implement procedures to ensure the proper tracking and documentation of customer data throughout the supply chain. Provide effective planning by working with the designated customer resources while utilizing established systems and tools to provide strategic solutions. Provide value to the customer through implementing cost control methodologies, strategic management practices, and operational efficiencies.Description

Support the region's operations group with the implementation requirements of the Fleet Maintenance Management Program.

Perform required administrative functions on a daily basis as part of the Fleet Maintenance Management Program for customer owned assets.

The position is an onsite implementation role within an industrial environment and safety requirements are to be adhered to 100% of the time. Regular communication with the region's operations group will be an integral part of successfully implementing the Fleet Maintenance Management Program.

Oversee all aspects of the Fleet Maintenance Management Program, including planning, procurement of parts, and labor productivity reporting for unplanned, planned, and emergency maintenance requirements for all customer owned mobile equipment and vehicles. Includes working directly with the assigned customer site champion in overseeing technician activities and ensures work orders are being generated and properly maintained.

Assist the region's operations group during the project to identify and maximize efficiency and cost savings opportunities while developing future strategic processes that could be implemented in the future and would allow the customer to continue to reduce operational costs.

The Region Fleet Specialist will use the capabilities of Rentalman, UR Control, Total Control, and other available systems to manage the maintenance program.

The Region Fleet Specialist will provide requested daily reports as well as maintain accurate record keeping for all customer assets included in the program for comprehensive reporting purposes.

As part of the program, the Region Fleet Specialist will assist in identifying underutilized assets as well as assets that have exceeded their useful life based on costs associated with ongoing maintenance requirements.

The Region Fleet Specialist will maintain a strong relationship and communicate regularly with the customer, designated personnel, and internal operating groups.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree preferred.

Equivalent work experience will be considered

ExperiencePrefer a minimum of two years’ experience in operations, project management, process improvement, or supervisory role within the equipment rental business or industrial environment.Other Skills Required

Superior analytical and problem solving skills are required.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively plan and implement new processes in a fast paced environment.

Position will interact with internal and external customers and Fleet Specialist must engage in cooperative and professional manner. Effective communication skills are required to maintain complete oversight of this high level project.

Basic Microsoft Office skills, Rentalman, Cognos, Total Control, UR Control, and other company computer systems experience are required.

Working Conditions

Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperature, loud noise, dust, and gas or fumes.

Work in unprotected weather elements.

Work in industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to wear a respirator and/or hearing protection as required.

Ability to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day.

Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day.
