Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support a sales team and help drive business growth. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales processes, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. This role is based in the Indianapolis, IN area and is a long-term contract/contract-to-hire opportunity. Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and order processing.
Maintain and update customer records and sales databases.
Support the sales team with preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
Process sales orders and manage inventory levels.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Assist with sales reports, market research, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software.
