CBRE GWS delivers consistent, measurably superior outcomes for our clients at every stage of the lifecycle, and across industries and geographies.About the roleAs a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you will manage many functions of building operations and maintenance for a 2 new Pharma Manufacturing sites located in Lebanon, IN (suburb of Indianapolis). As these sites are both new start-ups, this Sr. Manager will be responsible for building the team and our services.This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Clients regarding all repairs and investment plans.Scope of Services led by the Sr. Facilities Manager include Facility and Equipment Maintenance, Material Handling, Central Utilities Operations well as Soft Services (eg: Food, Janitorial, Landscaping).What you’ll doLead the hiring process required to build up a team composed of Skilled Technical Staff as well as Supervisors and Managers.Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.Coordinate and lead facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.Support large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports either directly or via CBRE Project Managers.Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. These sites will be FDA regulated.Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.Build environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.Develop vendor relationships and contracts. Lead all aspects of execution of third party services performed by these vendors. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for Facilities Management services and projects.Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence) values.
