BRU Burger Bar – Indianapolis is hiring Line Cooks who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Bru is an Ode to our love, the Burger. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better, except working here!

Line Cook:

Our Line Cooks work with the recipes created by our Chefs to a produce beautiful, eye-catching product. Individuals in this position execute dishes that bring guests back again and again. Line Cooks must work together as a team to achieve a successful service. They are also encouraged to showcase their skills by presenting in our open kitchens.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and stock stations with all tools, products, and supplies necessary to execute one’s task.

• Prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of one’s team on the line.

• Follow instructions provided by Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef.

• Ensure dishes come out of the kitchen in a timely, efficient manner upholding standards related to

presentation and quality.

• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

• Clean one’s station at the end of service, stocking inventory appropriately for the following service.

• Other duties as assigned.
