At Goose the Market, we named the cellar bar and wine + beer shop after the Italian name for a place to drink and purchase wine. Apply now to work in Goose's Enoteca in a position that blends retail sales plus bar and table-side service.
This is a front-of-the-house position ideally suited to a people person who enjoys hosting and interacting with guests. A strong personal initiative to accomplish tasks independently is essential.
Applicants must have or be able to obtain the state's required documents for serving alcohol, and duties include:
-Âengaging customers with information on beer, wine, and pairing suggestions
- preparing and serving small plates as well as beer and wine by the glass
- operating the cash register and ringing up sales
-Âreceiving orders and creating displays
-Âupholding high standards of cleanliness and organization at all times
- multitasking and maintaining a positive, friendly demeanor: anticipating guestsâ needs and ensuring they leave feeling even better than when they arrived
