Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Carpenter with experience across multiple scopes of interior construction. The ideal candidate will have proven abilities in framing, ceiling systems, and drywall, as well as competency with equipment operation and layout. This role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to deliver high-quality results on commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform metal stud framing for walls, partitions, and soffits.
Install and suspend acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) systems to specification.
Ability to learn or understand and execute all drywall hang and finish stages, from hanging sheets through finishing levels.
Safely operate and work from scissor lifts, boom lifts, scaffolding, and telehandlers.
Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to ensure accuracy.
Perform layout of walls, openings, and ceiling systems using levels, lasers, and other tools.
Follow company and jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, field teams, and project managers.
Qualifications Solid background with:
Metal stud framing
Acoustical ceiling tile systems
Drywall hanging and finishing stages
Blueprint reading and layout
Experience with lift equipment, scaffolding, and telehandlers.
Commitment to quality, reliability, and safe work practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to be drug free and achieve a valid CSS card.
Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus
Commercial construction field experience on buildouts, renovations, or large-scale projects.
