Indianapolis Dry Stripping has an AMAZING opportunity for a Yard Coordinator capable of working with Heavy Equipment. The successful applicant must have DEMONSTRATED WORK EXPERIENCE MOVING HEAVY WELDMENTS, I-BEAMS AND ASSORTED STRUCTURAL STEEL COMPONENTS. You will be responsible for helping customers at the WILL-CALL counter by writing up customer special instruction forms as projects are dropped off.
Job Summary:
Interacting with customers, loading and unloading semi-trucks, organizing equipment and projects in the yard and delivering projects to the appropriate department for processing; as well as, other miscellaneous tasks.
Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries as projects are dropped off.
Load and Unload trucks.
General yard and shop organization
Maintain Work Tickets and other paperwork as necessary.
Maintaining a safe and hazard-free workplace.
​Qualifications:
Individuals must have experience operating heavy material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, yard spotter, etc.).
Must have good communication skills. Basic computer skills a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Positive and professional demeanor
Must be willing to work outdoors, when necessary, regardless of conditions.
Must be able to: lift, carry, hold, stoop, reach, bend, stretch, push and pull as required.
