Now Hiring: Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Location: Plainfield, IN 46168
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM
Sunday- Thursday 10:00PM- 6:30AM
Pay: $17-$18
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our Operations team. This role is essential in safely moving materials throughout the facility, supporting production, shipping, and warehouse activities.
Responsibilities:
Safely load, unload, transport, and stack materials using forklifts and related equipment
Move materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts
Assist with preparing processed bales for shipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and wearing required PPE
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and ensure efficiency
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1-2 years of forklift or related warehouse experience preferred
Valid forklift certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and twisting
Strong attention to safety, organization, and teamwork
Good communication skills and professional attitude
