We are currently hiring Spotters with 1+ years of experience in a warehouse commercial environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Indianapolis area. Must be able to bring PPE (Steel Toe Boots, Safety Glasses, High-Vis Vest, Gloves, Hard Hat).
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with electricians/cable technicians to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Assist in the setup and preparation of work areas, including securing tools and equipment, and implementing safety measures.
Spot potential electrical wiring issues, such as faulty connections, damaged wires, or exposed conductors, and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel.
Provide guidance and support to electricians during the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring systems.
Monitor work progress and communicate effectively with team members to address any concerns or deviations from project plans.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
Assist in the cleanup and organization of work areas after completing electrical wiring projects.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential hazards and safety risks.
Willingness to work in various environments, including construction sites and commercial buildings.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Compensation:
Competitive starting pay $16-18 an hour depending on experience.
